Stanislav Stratiev /1941-2000/ famous Bulgarian writer and playwright, author of some of the most satirical plays and films about Bulgarian reality, performed to this day. The play "Life, Although Short" was created in 1986, with premiere in the same year at the State Satirical Theater - Sofia.
Stratiev is also the most performed Bulgarian author on foreign theater stages of all time. Over 800 performances of his plays have been realized, in 40 countries on 5 continents, and his works have been translated into more than 30 languages.
